MY PRESS DAYS

Glad fredag! Innan vi alla tar helg tänkte jag berätta för er om pressdagarna förra veckan. Lez do diz!

Happy Friday! Before the weekend celebration starts, I’d like to take the opportunity to tell you about the press days last week. Let do diz!

Några av er har frågat vad tusan pressdagarna är för något. Mycket bra fråga! På pressdagarna öppnar alla (tja, nästan alla) pr-agenturer upp sina portar för stylister, influencers, redaktörer och annat branschfolk som kan ha något intresse för att se alla de senaste kollektionerna från de märken som agenturerna representerar. Det är ett gyllene tillfälle för sådana som mig att knata runt och networka, planera kommande samarbeten och inspireras.

Some of you have asked me what “the press days” is. Very good question! On the press days, all (well, almost all) agencies open up their showrooms for stylists, influencers, editors and other professionals who may be interested in seeing all the latest collections from the brands represented by the agencies. It’s a golden opportunity for people like me to walk around and network, plan upcoming collaborations and get inspired.

Sean var med mig som moral support. Han pushar mig alltid att gå fram till personer som kan vara bra att prata med när jag känner mig lite blyg, vilket ofta resulterar i nyttiga kontakter och jobb.

Sean was my moral support. He always pushes to talk to people who’s interesting to me when I feel a bit shy, which often results in useful contacts and jobs.

Gick förbi KM-b’s stora showroom! Hittade riktiga gobitar hos Vans och The North Face.

Walked past KM-b’s big showroom! Found some really nice pieces from Vans and The North Face.

I showroomet intill, Heroes&Heroines, fanns dessa fantastiska krukor. Må-ste ha!!!

Sean passade på att få sin livs första manikyr hos Zalando! (Alltså notera hans fascinerade fejs, haha). Älskar för övrigt Zalando-showroomet, det är alltid så trevlig, laid-back stämning där.

Sean was got his first ever-manicure at Zalando! (look how fascinated he was, hahah). I always love the friendly, laid-back atmosphere in the Zalando showroom.

En nice grej med pressdagarna är att man aldrig behöver vara hungrig. Skulle säga att jag snittade ungefär en matbit i kvarten hela dagarna.

A nice thing about the press days is that you never have to be hungry. I pretty much had a bite of food every 15 minute all day long.

Avslutade pressdagarna med varsin drink hos Bold. Jag är väldigt nöjd med denna säsongs pressdagar, har redan påbörjat flera små projekt och samarbeten som kommit upp efteråt. Men NU är det helg och jag ska lämna kontoret. Skål!

We ended the press days with a drink at Bold. I’m very happy with this season’s press days, I’ve already started a several projects and collaborations that were born during our visits in the showrooms. But now it’s WEEKEND and it’s time for me to leave the office. Cheers!
